What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker - The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
